- And I saw the heaven which had been opened, and behold a White Horse, and one sitting upon him, called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judgeth and makes war.
- But his eyes are as it were a flame of fire; and upon his head many diadems: having a name which had been written, which no one knows but he himself.
- And he had been clothed with a garment that had been dyed with blood; and his name is called, the Word of the Deity.
- And the hosts in the heaven followed him upon white horses, having been clothed with fine linen white and pure.
- And out of his mouth goeth forth a sharp long-sword, that with it he may have smitten the nations; and he shall govern them with an iron rod: and he treadeth the vat of the wine of the wrath and of the indignation of the allpowerful Deity.
- And he hath upon the garment, and upon his thigh the name which had been written, Kino of kings and Lord of lords.
